Originally conceived by artists Haroon Mirza and Jack Jelfs during their 2018 residency at CERN – the largest particle physics laboratory in the world, and home of the iconic Large Hadron Collider – "The Wave Epoch" is an album and film developed with a small group of collaborators including artist and musician GAIKA (Warp Records / The Spectacular Empire), Jessica Barter, Mike Forehead and Dave Bebber. "The Wave Epoch" is the debut album by Mirza and Jelfs and the first release on OUTPUTS.
An immersive and multimedia live performance version of "The Wave Epoch" has previously been performed at the Brighton Festival, Lisson Gallery and the Ministry of Sound for DRAF Evening of Performances.
The limited edition is a playable artwork and includes a non-vinyl record of "The Wave Epoch" as well as the full digital album.
