The exhibition Scenarios for Coexistence consists of a selection of works created over the past decade, as well as the most recent productions. Its layout takes the form of a peculiar archaeological site, where the remnants of structures, epitaphs of progress, and, undoubtedly, life that always finds a way can be seen. In this dynamic space, Nicolás Lamas highlights the multifaceted nature of change, as well as the new meanings, references, and values that emerge from the interplay of different materials. Hybrid compositions, made from biological and technological remnants and serving as internal skeletons for both living beings and machines, are housed in modular structures reminiscent of urban exoskeletons. At the same time, by addressing the urgent issue of mass hyper-consumption, he encourages the viewer to discover the beauty in the everyday and the abandoned.
