the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of Troika this autumn at the Lange Foundation.

For Pink Noise, the emerging German-French trio presents ambitious new installations and works that explore the relationships between perception, environment, and technology. In an era of climate crisis and social instability accompanying digital transformation, Troika emphasizes how the fusion of machine and human imagination gives rise to new worlds.

Human sensorium (touch, sight, hearing, etc.) converges today with sensors, machine vision, and more. Pink Noise explores how our perception of "nature" is tuned to the frequencies and spectra of digital media. How does our environment change when new technologies dissolve the previous boundaries of perceptibility? And what blind spots emerge? Curated by philosopher Dehlia Hannah and art historian/curator Nadim Samman, the exhibition Pink Noise foregrounds Troika's artistic reflections on mediated nature and our disorientation within it.
