Gabriel Rico opens his first solo exhibition in China at the Beiqiu Museum of contemporary art in Nanjing.
The exhibition features 37 works from recent years, including many new works presented for the first time.
In the exhibition, the artist engages with the museum building and its history, in relation to his own Mexican heritage. In doing so, his works are always related to Rico's interest in philosophy and science, uniting his contemporary approach with the cultural heritage of bygone times.
