NExECON | niko abramidis &ne

In his first solo exhibition NExECON at max goelitz, the artist Niko Abramidis &NE creates a multimedia room installation with sculptural and technical objects, paintings and drawings that deal with economic structures and visions of the future. The gallery space becomes a kind of fictional headquarters, charged with entrepreneurial aesthetics and the insignias of power. An exaggerated corporate identity is staged with the artist‘s own formal language, symbolism and the use of new technologies. The artist examines the mechanisms of financial economics, their perception and imprinting in the collective memory by asking fundamental questions about the processes that determine our present and future life and work.
