For the first time at Art Düsseldorf, max goelitz dialogically juxtaposes recent works by Niko Abramidis &NE, Brigitte Kowanz, Haroon Mirza & Mattia Bosco and Troika within a multi-media booth installation. The examination of scientific methods is characteristic to the works of Brigitte Kowanz and Troika, which engage with language, codes and algorithms through powerful aesthetic and conceptual perceptual phenomena. In contrast, the works of Niko Abramidis &NE and of Haroon Mirza & Mattia Bosco are characterized by the combination of technology and references from ancient cultures, which can be described as "archaeology of the future". Bringing these two artistic encounters together, the presentation opens up a multifaceted reflection on contemporary issues such as digitalization, climate politics, and capitalism.
