In der Wandarbeit OFF - WHITE MOON entfaltet die monochrome dunkle Oberfläche aus flachen, quadratischen und aneinander gesetzten Ferritmagneten eine malerische Wirkung. Die Dichte des Materials erzeugt einerseits eine anziehende, matte Tiefe, die den Blick auf die feinen – durch den Schneideprozess der einzelnen Platten entstandene – Strukturen lenkt, und andererseits reflektiert die Oberfläche gleichzeitig das Licht des umgebenen Raums. Je nach Lichteinfall und Standpunkt der Betrachtenden entfaltet das kompakte Material verschiedene Farbnuancen und changiert in Blau- und Grautönen. Durch die Anordnung der einzelnen Platten greift Jaworski, wie bei AIRLINES, JUNE und SUNDAY, das System des Rasters auf, das unendlich erweitert werden kann und hier in einem minimalistischen Monochrom zu sehen ist. Durch die Aneinanderreihung der Kacheln wird die Beschaffenheit der aus Eisenoxid bestehenden Ferritmagnete in den Fokus gestellt. An die Stelle eines Bildes, eines Objekts, einer Figuration tritt die reine Materialbeschaffenheit, die sich in ihrer Tiefe frei entfaltet und zu Kontemplation über Betrachtungsweisen, Raumwahrnehmung und den Kosmos anregt.

In this hanging work OFF - WHITE MOON, the monochrome, dark surface of flat, square and juxtaposed ferrite magnets create a painterly effect. On the one hand, the material’s density creates a pulling, matt depth that draws the eye to the fine structures created by the cutting process of the individual panels. On the other hand, the surface simultaneously reflects the light off of the surrounding space. Depending on the incidence of light and the observer’s point of view, the compact material unfolds different color nuances and changes in blue and gray shades. Through the arrangement of the individual plates, Jaworski incorporates the system of the grid, as with AIRLINES, JUNE and SUNDAY, which can be infinitely extended and are visible here in a minimalist monochrome color. By lining up the tiles, the focus in OFF - WHITE MOON is laid on the inherent nature of the iron oxide ferrite magnets. Instead of an image, an object, a figuration, the pure material quality, freely unfolding in its depth and stimulating contemplation about perspectives, spatial perception and the cosmos, is brought to the center of attention.
