The motifs resemble X-ray scans from security checks – luggage scanned and exposed as if being examined for hidden contents. Presented in backlit boxes, the works unfold a distinctive luminosity that enhances the impression of technical imaging while simultaneously creating a fragile, almost immaterial aesthetic. These depictions not only refer to physical transparency but also to the revelation of personal narratives, the scrutiny of individual identity, and the control over movement and belonging. The suitcases symbolize more than just travel in the conventional sense; they also represent inner transitions and the instability of belonging.
